What do we do?
ETL serves youth and young adults who live with disabilities by
helping people build independent living skills as they transition
into adult life!

Ethel's Tree of Life is a nonprofit with the mission to provide transition training in life and work skills for youth and young adults who live with disabilities and/or special needs. ETL does this with mentoring and recreational based activities and opportunities. The ETL phone number is 207 704 7990. Our email is LHigg93409@aol.com. Our office is at the Youth Barn in South Berwick at 3 Willow Drive (It's a big red barn) right near the soccer fields and cemetery. Office hours are Wednesday through Friday 9 A.M. until 5 P.M. with appointments Wednesday 10 until 4, Thursday, 10 until 2, and, Fridays 10 until 1. Some of the activities that we offer are:
- A nutrition program which was developed with nutritionist Sharon Hinkley of the University of Maine Cooperative Extension Service
- Urban Hikes (We have explored Portsmouth, Boston's Freedom Trail, Boston Common, Downtown Boston, Philadelphia, Manhattan, Lowell and more!)
- All activities incorporate the development of soft skills needed for employment.
- Promotion of Independent Living Skills through experiential opportunities and connection with community.
